•Doctors & surgeons
•Before
and Afters
A
service for surgeons, doctors and private individuals undergoing
any form of plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery. An accurate,
unbiased, and professionally qualified photographer is a vital
component of
any plastic surgery procedure as a medical and legal safeguard,
or simply as a 'before and after.'
Mole
maps, skin conditions and Dermatology
There
is an increasing need for images in the field of dermatology. With
skin cancers on a rapid increase, medical images are vitally important
for keeping record of any new, existing or changing moles on the
body.
Although
skin cancer is on the increase, there is good news. The good news
is, if changes in moles are caught in time, cancer can be prevented.
We
should all take responsibility for our own health. Having a set
of photographs to monitor existing moles, could be a life saver.
Photographs of the whole body are taken to create a 'mole map'.
This shows your existing moles, including ones you can't see, like
the ones on your back. From these photos you can monitor for any
changes or new
growth and catch any problems in time.
Legal
and Personal Injury
Don't
let an unqualified photographer let you down.
A
service for Solicitors and their clients.
Only
qualified, registered and experienced medical photographers should
be used in medico legal cases. My work has been used by solicitors,
police and individuals, for personal injury, negligence cases, assault
and more serious criminal cases. I am qualified and experienced in
giving police statements for use in court.
As
a qualified, professionally registered and unbiased professional,
the validity of my work is beyond question.
My
qualifications and experience mean accurately
lit and measurable images in the correct anatomical position every
time.

Professionally
experienced
I
have worked for over 10 years in hospitals as a specialist medical
photographer and illustrator.
I
hold a BSc in Medical Illustation and am amongst the few registered
medical photography practitioners
in the region (RMIP) (http://www.camip.org.uk). I am professionally
qualified to practice. I
am a qualified member of the BIPP (LBIPP) and follow the codes
of practice of both the BIPP and IMI.
Medical
photography has an increasing value for doctors and private individuals.
Important as evidence of 'before and after', it is vital that a
specialist photographer undertakes this work, as only then are
the images truly
accurate, repeatable and measurable.
